WHAT THE HECK IS A BLOG?

This is the second year I have used this blog as a teaching aid. Some of the posts will be reposted, like this one below from December of 2008.

You can look back at the blog archives to see how I have used this in the past, but I will be adding new and hopefully interesting stuff to the blog from time to time.

So, What the heck is a blog? Well, if you google "what is a blog", you get a blog about blogs:"For a detailed more description about blogs see http://wiki.wordpress.org/IntroToBlogs . . . A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." This is an alternative to providing you with paper worksheets and if we use it properly, it will be a better learning tool.So stay tuned to http://mrpatty.blogspot.com/ and we will see how this works.
